- List your firm
A listing is not for sale.
Firms appear here because we found them and read their public record, not because they bought a place. What a firm can do is claim its profile, keep it accurate, and fix the things that are holding its score down. All three are free, and the page below says exactly what they involve.
Five things a firm has to meet
These are the eligibility gates from the methodology, written for somebody who runs a firm. Every one is checked from public sources, so there is nothing here to send us and nothing to take on trust. Where a state publishes no register we are allowed to query, the gate that needed it carries no finding at all rather than a guess.
Served over HTTPS, with a working phone number and the attorneys named on pages we can read. No guaranteed-results language and no invented badges. Three firms in the directory publish no attorney at all, and it is the single most common reason a profile stalls: with no names there is no roster to check, so licensure and discipline cannot be looked up either.
Publish a page that names your attorneys, one page each where you can.
Every attorney the firm names holds a current licence. We read the state register where the state publishes one we are allowed to query. An attorney we cannot find is not held against the firm; a disbarment or a suspension is.
Publish bar admission numbers on the bios. It takes a text edit and it is worth points.
No attorney the firm names carries a disbarment, a suspension or a disciplinary resignation on the public record. Where a state publishes no register we may query, we read the published decisions of its grievance body instead.
Nothing, if the record is clean. This one we check rather than ask about.
A registered legal entity and at least one office somebody can walk into. A verified Google Business Profile with a postal address establishes the office anywhere in the country. The entity half needs a business register the state lets us query, and several do not.
Keep the Google listings current, with the address and hours the firm actually keeps.
Ten or more reviews across the firm's verified Google listings, and at least a year in operation. We take the year from the registration date of the firm's own domain, which is a floor rather than a founding date and is never published as the firm's age.
Nothing to send. Both halves are already public.
Prices, in public
For a firm that wants its own profile to be right, and to stay right. There is no upgrade path attached to this and no expiry.
- Correct your offices, phone, practice areas, languages and fee terms
- Submit case results with a docket number for verification
- Appeal any sub-factor, reviewed within 30 days
- See every sub-score and the evidence behind it
Claiming changes nothing about the score, the eligibility gates or the tier. Those are measured, and a claimed profile is measured exactly the same way an unclaimed one is.
Prices are on this page rather than behind an email because a directory that says a score cannot be bought, and then asks you to write for a rate card, is asking to be doubted. Anything we sell is named here or it is not sold.
There is nothing else on sale today. When there is, it will be an optional tool or a clearly labelled sponsored placement, it will appear on this page with its price, and neither will ever enter a ranked list or move a single point of a score. That is a commitment in our terms, not a marketing line.
Tell us about your firm
Three short steps, and the last one sends it. Nothing leaves this page until you press send, so we never see a partly finished form, and nothing you write here is shared with anybody.
What we will and will not do
We read what you send, look at your public record, and reply with where your firm actually stands: which gates it clears, which it does not, and what the evidence says. If your firm is not published yet, that reply is the useful part, and it costs nothing.
What we will not do is edit a score, remove a finding, or move a firm up a ranked list because it asked, paid, or objected. A finding comes off when the evidence changes, which is a thing you can go and do: publish your results with their case types, put bar numbers on your bios, state your fee percentage. Those are worth points because they are worth something to a client, which is the only reason anything is worth points here.
If a measured value is simply wrong, that is a correction rather than an appeal and we want to hear about it. Every value on a profile names its source and the date we read it, so point at the one that disagrees with your records. See thecontact page for what to include.
