Privacy policy

What we do not collect

We want to be specific, because "we value your privacy" means nothing. As of September 13, 2026, this site:

• runs no analytics of any kind: no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no third-party measurement script;
• sets no cookies, and writes nothing to local storage or session storage;
• has no account system, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to store;
• sends us nothing you type, still, and that includes the form on the list your firm page. The home page search runs entirely in your browser, matching what you type against pages that already exist. The firm form has no server behind it either: when you reach the end it writes the message into your own mail program, already filled in, and stops there. Nothing is posted anywhere, no third party receives it, and a form you fill in and abandon is a form we never saw. What we hold afterwards, if you press send in your own mail client, is an email you chose to send us.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because we do not have any to sell.

What is unavoidable

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the IP address, user agent and requested URL of each request in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. We do not add analytics on top of that, and we do not build profiles from it.

Google Fonts

Page styling loads two typefaces from Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That request goes to Google, which means Google receives your IP address when you load a page here. We gain nothing from this beyond the typeface, and we intend to serve the fonts from our own domain so that the transfer stops happening. Until then it is worth stating plainly rather than burying.

Links to law firm websites

Firm profiles link to each firm's own site. Once you follow such a link you are on that firm's site, subject to its privacy practices and not ours. We have no control over and take no responsibility for what a firm's site does with your data.

Information a firm sends us

If a firm writes to us to claim a profile, correct a value or appeal a score, we keep that correspondence and any documentation it contains for as long as needed to act on it and to show why a published value says what it says. That is business contact information and evidence, and we do not use it for marketing.

Information about firms and attorneys on this site

Profiles are compiled from sources the firm or a public body has published: the firm's own website, its Google Business Profile, state bar and court registries, court dockets, and third-party measurement services. Attorney names come from each firm's own published attorney pages, and every profile records where a value came from.

If you are an attorney and believe something published about you is inaccurate, write to us and we will check it against the source and correct it if it is wrong. Contact.

Your requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we run no analytics and no accounts, in most cases the answer is that we hold nothing beyond what is described above. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top of this page changes with it. This version is dated September 13, 2026.
